Shia Ulema Council leaders meet Sindh Governor, assures cooperation

Allama Nazir Taqvi-led 7-member delegation of Shia Ulema Council Pakistan’s Sindh chapter called on Sindh Governor Mohammad Zubair and assured him of their support and cooperation.

Sindh Governor said that religious harmony and unity of Muslims was also a must to maintain peace in Karachi and other parts of Sindh province and for that purpose, religious scholars could play an active and effective role.
He sought SUC cooperation and support saying that they should preach the message of love and fraternity among people. He said that Islam is complete code of life that emphasizes on a tolerance and peaceful society where people respect each other and live side by side with peace and harmony.
The Governor cited that the religious scholars always played their due role and extended support to the government of the time in the past to help maintain peace, cohesion and harmony among people.
