The cops of Pakistan Rangers (Sindh) have taken a Karachi-based local leader of Shia Ulema Council Hakeem Muslim Raza into illegal custody from Malir area of Karachi, family sources complained on Thursday night.

The house and clinic of Hakeem Muslim was also searched and then the cops took him away with them without any charge against him. The neighbourers and his brothers were informed that SUC Karachi chapter general secretary was taken into custody for interrogation regarding his party’s affairs. After interrogation, he will be released, rangers officials were quoted as saying.
It is relevant to add here that since Saudi war on Yemen, Shia Muslims of Pakistan were being persecuted. On the one hand, Shia scholars, notables and activists have been taken into illegal custody and on the other Saudi-allied Deobandi takfiri terrorists of banned outfits are being given free hand and being released from detention also.
