Raheel Sharif advises Saudi Arabia to activate OIC instead of Arab League

Pakistan’s retired army chief Raheel Sharif who has gone to Riyadh to serve Saudi-led military alliance, has advised the Saudi monarchy that they should activate OIC instead of Arab League to make its military alliance active and useful.

Urdu Daily Khabrain has reported that Raheel Sharif said that Arab League doesn’t represent Islamic Ummah since it is regional alliance based on ethnic identity and not on Islamic identity hence the Saudi Arabia should pay attention to the Islamic Ummah’s body OIC where all Muslim countries are members.
General Raheel Sharif (retired) has made it clear that Saudi-led military alliance would suffer losses if the Arab League is preferred and OIC is being ignored.
He estimated that Saudi-led military alliance would comprise of half million troops and they should work under umbrella of OIC.
