Tahir Ashrafi unseated at the media talk of JUIF Chief Fazalur Rehman

Deobandi cleric Tahir Mehmood Ashrafi was unwelcome at the press conference that was addressed by another Deobandi cleric JUIF chief Fazalur Rehman who asked his men to get fatty fellow away because the latter got him seated near to him.

Media persons witnessed that Fazalur Rehman disdained Ashrafi when he got him seated near to JUIF chief during the media talk. Detested Ashrafi had to leave the seat.
Both are pro-Saudi clerics and both are Deobandis but the personal stature compelled Fazal to distance him from the fatty fellow Deobandi.
Ashrafi had also fought with JUIF’s senior cleric Mohammad Khan Shirani at a meeting of the Council of Islamic Ideology (CII), a government institution where Shirani heads and Ashrafi was a member.
