MWM calls for countrywide protest on Friday against terrorist attacks

Majlis-e-Wahdat-e-Muslimeen has appealed to the supporters to largely participate in the protest rallies after Friday prayers to register their anger on the growing terrorist attacks on Shia Muslims across Pakistan.

Allama Ahmed Iqbal Rizvi, deputy secretary general, Allama Mirza Yousuf Hussain, chief of All Pakistan Shia Action Committee, and other officials spoke at a joint press conference yesterday where they announced countrywide protest on Friday.
They said that terrorists bombed Parachinar, Hayatabad Peshawar, Lahore, Mohmand Agency and attacked Shia Muslim notables in Sahiwal, Karachi and Azad Jammu and Kashmir. They said that terrorists’ murderous attack on Allama Tasawwur Javadi was another proof of failure of the government.
They demanded of the government to act upon National Action Plan and intensify countrywide operation against the banned terrorist organizations forthwith. They said that ministers meetings with banned outfits leaders sent a clear message against the peaceful citizens of Pakistan. They asked the government to clarify its position whether they are against the terrorists or with the terrorists.
They said that attack on Allama Tasawwur Javadi was tantamount to an attack on the peaceful struggle of Kashmir for liberation from the occupation of the enemy.
