Islamic awakening is a must to defend nation and homeland: Allama Raja Nasir
Majlis-e-Wahdat-e-Muslimeen’s secretary general, Allama Raja Nasir Abbas Jafari, has said that Islamic awakening is a must to defend the nation and the country and without it an invincible defence against the enemies could not be established.
He expressed these views addressing a conference on “Protection of Pakistan and Awakening of Ummat,” during his tour to central Punjab.
Allama Jafari said that Allama Dr Muhammad Iqbal, the national poet of Pakistan and great Muslim philosopher, and Imam Khomeini awakened Muslims in subcontinent and Iran. He said that their lectures and poetry awakened Muslims and they began movement for liberation from the enemies of their nations.
He said that now Muslims were awakened from Yemen, Bahrain, and Lebanon to Nigeria. He said that people have risen against the tyrant and despotic regimes and their foreign masters.
Allama Raja Nasir said that in Pakistan, rulers were sacrificing democratic values in the name of democracy. He said that people were pushed under heavy taxes and no facilities are given to them as compared to the taxes they pay.
He said that no private militia should be allowed under any pretext in Pakistan because defence of Pakistan is the responsibility of the armed forces of Pakistan and not of any private outfit. He said that those declared founder of Pakistan Mohammad Ali Jinnah as heretic should not be encouraged to continue their activities in Pakistan.
MWM chief said that such takfiri outfits pose serious existential threat to Pakistan and nation of this motherland. He urged that the State authorities must rid Pakistan of takfiris and their patrons.
