Three Daesh terrorists arrested for plotting attack on shrines

Counter-Terrorism Department of Punjab police arrested at least three Wahhabis-allied terrorists of a banned Daesh during an operation in More Aimanabad near Gujranwala late yesterday.

According to CTD spokesman, the operation was conducted on an intelligence report that terrorists are present in the area. The arrested terrorists were identified as Ali Raza, Jawad Humza and Atif Mushtaq.
The spokesman further said that the terrorists have revealed during initial investigation that they were planning to target some shrines in Gujranwala.
Explosive material, detonators and banned literature was recovered from the arrested terrorists who were shifted to some undisclosed location for further investigation.
