Martyrdom anniversary of renowned Shia thinker Saeed Zaidi being observed today
The fourth anniversary of martyrdom of renowned Shia thinker Saeed Haider Zaidi is being observed today. It is also relevant to add that anniversary of another great Shia scholar Allama Agha Aftab Haider Jafari was observed three days ago in Karachi.
Saeed Haider Zaidi was an expert on Islamic teachings and history and he was a staunch supporter of Islamic unity. After quitting Darus Saqafah, he founded Darus Saqlain to spread the true message of Islam among youths. Youths were captivated by his lectures on Islamic movements around the world and proposed practical solutions to the problems being faced by Muslims.
His Darus Saqlain published many books mainly translated books of great Muslim philosophers such as Ayatollah Morteza Motahri, Imam Khamenei, Ayatollah Hussain Fazlullah of Lebanon, etc.
He embraced martyrdom on 9th of November in 2012 outside a shopping centre in Karimabad area of Karachi’s district central where he was shot in front of his wife by ferocious terrorists of banned takfiri outfit.
