Thousands attends funeral of martyr Shia Police officer Irfan Haider

With tearful eyes, thousands of friends and relatives attended the funeral of SHO Sir Syed Town Police Irfan Haider who was martyred on Wednesday night.
Shiite News Correspondent reported that thousands of people had gathered at Shohda-e-Karbala Imam Bargah where the namaz-e-janaza of martyr Irfan Haider was held.

Maulana Shahenshah Naqvi led the namaz-e-janaza. Eminent Shia leader of Majlis-e-Wahdat-e-Muslimeen Allama Deedar Jalbani, political leaders namely Haider Abbas Rizvi, Anwar Raza Naqvi MPA, Suhail Abedi and some police officials also attended the funeral.

Brothers and friends of the martyrs were seen crying due to loss of an eminent member of their family and company.

Sadat Colony was reverberating with the slogans of Labbaik Ya Hussain (AS) as the mourners shouldered the coffin that was wrapped in Pakistan’s national flag and police flag. Reports had it that high police officials had attended the namaz-e-janaza at Police Headquarters.

Irfan Haider was respected in high esteem among residents of his locality due to his philanthropic activities. He was generous and wholeheartedly helped the needy people.
