Lashkar-e-Jhngvi, al-Qaeda terrorists remanded in police custody

Nine Deobandi takfiri terrorists of banned Lashkar-e-Jhangvi and Al-Qaeda (Subcontinent) were presented in court and were remanded in police custody for ten days.

Among those arrested is the chief of Al-Qaeda South Asia chapter in Karachi Faizur Rehman alias Abudullah aka Danial. Other arrested include Saeed alias Kaalu, Mohammad Mustafa, Amjad Sadiq, Zain ul Abdeen, Afroze alias Lamba, Abdul Baari Usman, Furqan Alam and Mohammad Ibrahim. All of them were taken to the court yesterday.
They are involved in target-killings of Shia Muslims in addition to murders of political personalities.
