Suicide attacks on church un-Islamic and grave sin: Sunni Ittehad Council

In a joint verdict (fatwa) of 30 Islamic AhleSunnat Beralvi Scholars, the Sunni ittehad Council has denounced the attack on church in Peshawar and called it un-Islamic and grave sin.

According to Fatwa Islam has forbidden any attack on the worship places of non-Muslims. “Those who have committed this act has made a grave sin by renouncing the Islamic teachings and words of Prophet Muhammad PBUH. They said Quran has clear orders that worship places of non-Muslims should not be demolished. “It is an attempt to defame Islam and Pakistan” fatwa concluded.
