Head of leading Shia party Allama Raja Nasir Abbas Jafari said that people of Balochistan and their provincial government should facilitate Zaireen (pilgrims) because they bring economic benefits with them for the volatile province of Pakistan.

Speaking at a press conference in Quetta, Majlis-e-Wahdat-e-Muslimeen secretary general further said that Shia pilgrims (Zaireen) are no less than blessing for Balochistan and harming them or impeding them from smooth travelling between Quetta and Taftan was deleterious for Balochistan economy also. He said Zaireen from all over Pakistan spend much during their travel and stay in Balochistan from Quetta to Taftan.
He also lashed out at the Indian Modi government for heightening tension with Pakistan saying that Pakistani nation including people of Balochistan were united against Indian threats and they were capable to give a crushing tit-for-tat response to Indian threats. He said people of Balochistan flutter Pakistan national flag on rooftops of their houses that is a manifestation of their love for Pakistan and a proof of their patriotism.
He said Balochistan chief minister, chief secretary and home secretary assured him that Zaireen would be facilitated by them and all hurdles in the way of their peaceful stay and travelling with comfort would be removed.
