Shikarpur failed suicide bombing: Martyr police cop laid to rest

Rafiq Ahmed Qureshi, a police cop of Khanpur, district Shikarpur, embraced martyrdom on Friday and laid to rest on Saturday. He was injured in a failed suicide bombing by Wahhabis-trained Deobandi takfiri terrorists in which one bomber exploded and other one was caught. But, blast left some police cops injured at a Shia mosque during Eidul Azha prayers.

Qureshi was shifted to Karachi for treatment. His funeral was held at SSU Gulshan-e-Iqbal ground in Karachi on Friday. Sindh Chief Minister Murad Shah announced compensatory cash, an employment in police for one heir of martyr Qureshi and payment of his monthly till the natural age of retirement of martyr Qureshi.
Allama Maqsood Domki, secretary general, Majlis-e-Wahdat-e-Muslimeen also had announced that the valiant cops would also be rewarded by Shia Muslims for their steadfastness against terrorists.
