Backgrounder: 4 suicide bombers and countless facilitators

Trained in Afghanistan, Deobandi terrorists under the influence of takfiri-Wahhabis entered into Pakistan via Chaman border crossing during the month of Ramazan and then stayed in Wadh area in district Khuzdar of Balochistan province. Although one Maaz facilitated their stay and also provided suicide jackets, the man behind all this is said to be Shafiq Mengal, an infamous abettor of Ramazan Mengal of the proscribed ASWJ, renamed version of (banned) Sipah-e-Sahaba whose off-shoot is (outlawed) Lashkar-e-Jhangvi.

Together with Hafeez, Sajjad and Umar, Usman reached Shikarpur on September 12. One suicide bomber killed in a failed attempt to hit Shia Muslims in Khanpur taluka of Shikarpur district during Eidul Azha prayers. Usman was caught red handed. Pakistan Rangers (Sindh) and Shikarpur police have conducted raids and rounded over 25 persons.
Reports from Khanpur had it that four of the takfiri terrorists were arrested. Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) of Sindh Police was assigned the task to investigate the case. Police officer Raja Umer Khitab has visited Khanpur and gathered relevant information. The insiders have leaked that some facilitators also hail from Karachi.
Investigators think that it was a joint operation by banned Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan and al-Qaeda but they should not forget that local network is called Lashkar-e-Jhangvi and the ASWJ whose ringleader in Balochistan is Ramzan Mengal and in Karachi Aurangzeb Farooqi leads them. Will they be arrested and hanged in public? If not, innocent people of Pakistan will continue to suffer from similar suicide attacks because of vested interests of the powers that be?
