MWM protest rally against Quetta suicidal attack opposes talks with Taliban
A huge rally was staged on Monday night on a call of Majlis-e-Wahdat-e-Muslimeen on main M.A. Jinnah Road to protest against the suicidal attack on Imam Bargah Abu Talib (AS) in Quetta.
Protestors began marching to Imam Bargah Ali Raza from Numaish Chowrwangi raising slogans against the terrorism and outlawed Taliban and its affiliated terrorist groups.
They were carrying banners and placards inscribed with slogans such as no to terrorism, hang the terrorists publicly and no talks with the terrorists. They condemned the suicidal attacks, blasts and targeted murders of innocent Shiites of Pakistan.
Speaking to the protestors, Allama Hassan Zafar Naqvi, central leader of the MWM, said that the terrorists have been encouraged and emboldened due to lenient policy of the PMLN government.
“The terrorists are ferocious assassins of innocent people. To talk of talks with Taliban is tantamount to betray the 71,000 sacred martyr Pakistanis who have fallen victims to Taliban terrorism,†he said.
The MWM official said that people have been under impression that the government and intelligence agencies are directly involved in the killings because they have failed to shoulder their responsibility by inaction against the masterminds of terrorist attacks.
“The U.S. administration is engaged in a proxy war through their stooges like Taliban in whole of the Islamic world and the Uncle Sam too is directly involved in the genocide of Shia Muslims.
Allama Naqvi demanded that an army operation be launched against the terrorists and the judiciary must order for publicly hanging of the terrorists. He urged that the government deserve no mercy.
Allama Deedar Jalbani and other officials of the MWM said that neither women nor children are safe from the attacks of the Taliban terrorists. They appealed to the nation to crush the terrorists by social boycott of the allies of the terrorists.
