Karachi Operation free from compromises and pressures: Lieutenant General Naveed Mukhtar

Shiite News: Corps Commander Karachi Lieutenant General Naveed Mukhtar has said that Karachi Operation is completely apolitical, indiscriminate and free from all kinds of compromises and pressures.

Addressing the passing out parade at Pakistan Rangers Training Centre and School, Lt Gen Naveed Mukhtar reiterated that Sindh Rangers played central role in restoring peace in Karachi and there is no ambiguity regarding completion of ongoing targeted operation in the city.

Lt General Naveed Mukhtar said the Rangers are considered a very brace and admirable force in Sindh and the credit for this goes to the officers and personnel of the force.

He further said “our mission is to free people of Karachi from atmosphere of fear and for that no pressure on Karachi Operations will be tolerated”.

He told the passing out batch that they are not individuals but representatives of the paramilitary force and their every action will reflect back on the Rangers as an institution.

Rangers would continue to play affective role to ensure protection of people of the province, he said.

Operation is expected to intensify after army chief’s statement ‘we will go to any extent for peace in Karachi’.
