Implementation of the Seven-Day Plan Possible in Less Than a Week: Abbas Araghchi

Shiite News: Iranian Foreign Minister Syed Abbas Araghchi has said that Iran, despite being fully prepared for its defense, wants to give diplomacy a chance to succeed and is in close and continuous contact with the countries mediating between Iran and America.

In his message on the social media platform X, he wrote that we are in contact with the mediators to review the proposals through which implementation of our seven-day plan could be possible in less than a week.

It is noteworthy that under this plan, conveyed to America through Qatar, the United States will end aggression against Iran within five days, lift the naval blockade, ease sanctions on Iranian oil exports, and release frozen assets, after which Iran will open the Strait of Hormuz for commercial shipping on the sixth day, and on the seventh day negotiations for a final agreement will resume.

In another message, Araghchi warned that any new military aggression by the usurping Israel in the Persian Gulf will have devastating effects on global energy markets, and this concern is a major source of worry for both gas-supplying and purchasing countries.
