Contradiction in French President’s Statements: Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi’s Sharp Reaction

Shiite News: Iranian Foreign Minister Dr. Syed Abbas Araghchi, reacting to the contradictions in French President Emmanuel Macron’s statements regarding Iranian nuclear activities, has issued an important message on a social media platform. He reminded that in 2018, just before the US President’s withdrawal from the Iranian nuclear agreement (JCPOA), Mr. Macron had emphasized before the US Congress that France would not withdraw from this agreement because it had signed it.

Severely criticizing Macron’s current contradictory policies, he further wrote that today he claims that he has always opposed any kind of nuclear activity in Iran. Dr. Abbas Araghchi, addressing the French President, clarified in blunt terms: “Mr. President! Stay true to your position!”
