Establishment of a University in Jacobabad Is Indispensable: Allama Maqsood Domki
Shiite News: President of Majlis-e-Wahdat-e-Muslimeen Pakistan Sindh province, Allama Maqsood Ali Domki, has strongly demanded from the government the establishment of a university in Jacobabad and said that providing opportunities for higher education at the local level to the younger generation, especially female students, is the most important need of the time. He expressed these views during meetings with various delegations in Jacobabad and during the campaign to invite people to the Azmat-e-Shuhada Conference to be held on October 23.
Allama Maqsood Ali Domki met former ISO divisional president Fazal Abbas Lashari in the village of Leemon Khan Lashari in Taluka Thul and, inviting him to participate in the Azmat-e-Shuhada Conference, said that the sacrifices of the martyrs of the Night of Ashura tragedy in Jacobabad are an unforgettable chapter in the history of the Millat-e-Jafriyah. Meanwhile, leader of the Tahaeem tribe Sardar Abdul Ghaffar Khan Tahaeem also met him along with a delegation, in which MWM Azadari Wing leader Didar Hussain Tahaeem was also present. Allama Maqsood Domki presented Sardar Abdul Ghaffar with a book on the life of Imam Hussain (AS) as a gift and exchanged views on matters of mutual interest.
In addition, the newly elected regional president of Imamia Students Organization, Izhar Al-Hasan, met the provincial president of MWM under the leadership of the Secretary Regional Nizamat. Allama Maqsood Domki congratulated the newly elected president by placing a floral garland around his neck and said that ISO is a party of revolutionary and conscious young people who believe in the system of Wilayat.

Expressing concern over educational backwardness, Allama Maqsood Domki further said that in a tribal and traditional social environment, it is extremely difficult for female students to travel to distant cities, and travel and accommodation expenses are a major obstacle for middle-class families. The government should immediately establish universities in Jacobabad and other backward districts of the province so that the fundamental right of the youth to higher education can be ensured.
