Shiite News: Addressing the weekly Dua-e-Nudba and academic session organized under the auspices of the office of Majlis-e-Wahdat-e-Muslimeen Pakistan Mashhad Muqaddas chapter and Moassassa Shaheed Arif Al-Husseini, Hujjat al-Islam wal-Muslimin Allama Syed Sadiq Raza Taqvi, who came from Pakistan, has said that Hazrat Zainab Kubra (peace be upon her) is a perfect role model for personalities who play heroic roles.

Allama Syed Sadiq Raza Taqvi, explaining Hazrat Zainab’s (AS) historic sentence “Ma Ra’aytu Illa Jameela” — meaning “I saw nothing but beauty” — said that to understand the greatness of this sentence, it is necessary to imagine the circumstances in which it was uttered. Imam Hussain (AS) had been brutally martyred, other members of the family had attained the rank of martyrdom, and Sayyida (AS) herself had been brought as a captive to the enemy’s court. In such difficult circumstances, seeing nothing but God’s pleasure and wisdom is the station of patience, submission, and gnosis that is the special attribute of only great Divine personalities.

He said that just as the personality of Amir al-Mu’minin Hazrat Ali (AS) is the manifestation of knowledge, bravery, justice, and wisdom, similarly Hazrat Zainab (AS) highlighted the greatness of her father and the effects of his training through her character, sermons, and sacrifices, and it is appropriate to call her the interpreter of Karbala because she conveyed the uprising of Imam Hussain (AS) and the message of Karbala to the world through her sermons and unparalleled steadfastness.

Allama Syed Sadiq Raza Taqvi, emphasizing the importance of understanding the thoughts and words of the martyred Leader in the present era, said that such profound points are hidden in the speeches of great personalities that deep reflection and insight are required for their true understanding. He said that if we color our lives with the Divine color and prioritize God’s pleasure in all circumstances, we can advance towards the station of nearness to God. At the end of the session, special prayers were offered for the elevation of the ranks of Imam Khomeini (RA), the martyred Leader, and the martyrs of Islam, for the long life of Supreme Leader Ayatollah Syed Mojtaba Khamenei, and for the destruction of the enemies of Islam.
