Hunger and Poverty Are Part of a Global Conspiracy: Allama Syed Sajid Ali Naqvi

Shiite News: Allama Syed Sajid Ali Naqvi, in his special message on the occasion of October 16, World Food Security Day, and October 17, World Day for the Eradication of Poverty, has said that the notorious global economic system has seized control of the world’s resources to achieve its condemned objectives. He said that on one hand, humanity is being ravaged by dropping thousands of tons of bombs on various free states, including Gaza, while on the other hand, conspiracies are ongoing to push states under the burden of debt, chain them in slavery, and create artificial food crises so that the oppressed people can be subjugated.

Allama Sajid Naqvi, severely criticizing the class system, said that communism and socialism, despite their attractive slogans, have completely failed to provide economic justice to the world. He urged the United Nations that instead of limiting these global days to mere symbolic activities, it should take solid practical steps to end poverty, hunger, and economic injustice. He further said that Islam is the standard-bearer of equality and economic justice, and the system of justice and fairness of Amir al-Mu’minin Hazrat Ali ibn Abi Talib (peace be upon them both) is a bright and eternal role model for all of humanity until the Day of Judgment.
