Operative of Banned Sipah Sahaba Who Stole Over 1 Crore Arrested, Money Recovered
Shiite News: In Lahore, the drama of a theft of 1 crore 15 lakh rupees from a betel nut shop has been solved. The burqa-clad accused involved in the incident has been arrested, who turned out to be the shop’s own employee and an operative of the banned terrorist organization Sipah Sahaba. Operatives of banned organizations involved in sectarian terrorism have now turned to robberies and thefts for funding.
According to DIG Operations, CCTV footage exposed this major incident. When investigated with the help of the footage, it was revealed that the shop’s employee Hasnain Ali entered the shop wearing a burqa and stole the money very cleanly. According to police, a large sum of 1 crore 17 lakh 50 thousand rupees stolen was also recovered from the possession of the arrested accused Hasnain Ali.
