Martyrs of Resistance Conference Held in Qom, Paying Tribute to Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah and Other Resistance Martyrs
Shiite News: On October 1, 2026, a major “Martyrs of Resistance Conference” was held at the Al-Ghadir Central Conference Hall in Qom to commemorate Martyr Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, Martyr Sayyed Hashem Safieddine, and other martyrs associated with the resistance front. Organized by the Qom branch of Majlis Wahdat-e-Muslimeen (MWM), the conference was attended by religious scholars, political figures, and representatives of resistance movements from various countries.
Addressing the gathering, Nasser Abu Sharif, representative of Palestinian Islamic Jihad, paid tribute to Martyr Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah for what he described as his exceptional leadership qualities and valuable services to the Palestinian cause.
Speaking at the conference, Mohammad Ibrahim al-Dailami, Ambassador of Yemen’s revolutionary government to the Islamic Republic of Iran, strongly rejected what he described as baseless allegations against Ansar Allah. He stated that those sacrificing their lives in defense of Al-Aqsa Mosque could not even conceive of attacking the Kaaba or other Islamic holy sites. He also thanked the Pakistani people for their support of the Yemeni people during the war imposed on Yemen in 2015, particularly acknowledging the support extended by Allama Raja Nasir Abbas Jafri, head of Majlis Wahdat-e-Muslimeen.
Hujjat al-Islam wal-Muslimeen Najaf Lakzaei, head of the research department of the Office of Islamic Propaganda of the Qom Seminary, highlighted Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah’s organizational abilities. He described his transformation of the spirit of individual sacrifice into an organized and united resistance movement as one of his major achievements.
The conference was attended in large numbers by prominent religious scholars and representatives of organizations from Pakistan and other countries, including the Shia Ulema Council, Tehreek-e-Bedari Ummat-e-Islami, and other groups. At the conclusion, Allama Sayyed Zeeshan Haider al-Hussaini, a leader of MWM Qom, thanked all the guests and participants.
