Majlis-e-Ulama and ISO Pakistan Hold Joint Meeting on Scholars-Youth Engagement
Joint Meeting of Majlis-e-Ulama Maktab-e-Ahlul Bayt and ISO Pakistan Emphasizes Stronger Links Between Scholars and Youth
Shiite News: A significant joint meeting was held between the central cabinets of Majlis-e-Ulama Maktab-e-Ahlul Bayt Pakistan and the Imamiah Students Organization (ISO) Pakistan, led by Hujjat al-Islam wal-Muslimeen Syed Hasnain Abbas Gardizi, central president of Majlis-e-Ulama Maktab-e-Ahlul Bayt Pakistan, and Syed Amin Shirazi, central president of ISO Pakistan. The meeting discussed in detail the need for effective and stronger engagement between religious scholars and young people.
Participants emphasized that continuous contact with and guidance from religious scholars is essential for the religious, intellectual and moral development of young people, noting that distancing from spirituality can contribute to growing irreligious tendencies in society. In view of ISO Pakistan’s organizational and revolutionary identity, participants agreed on a proposal to organize special training workshops on the Imam Khomeini and Leadership line of thought, with religious scholars providing academic and intellectual guidance.

The participants described stronger communication, cooperation and unity among Shia organizations as an important need and stressed further strengthening their mutual relations. At the conclusion of the meeting, special prayers were offered for the security and prosperity of the Muslim world, particularly the Islamic Republic of Iran, the Resistance Axis and Pakistan, as well as for the success of the Muslim Ummah.
