Martyr Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah Was a “Martyr of Al-Quds”; His Blood Will Keep the Resistance Alive: Allama Sajid Naqvi

Shiite News: On the second anniversary of the death of Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, Allama Sayyed Sajid Ali Naqvi, in a special message, described him as a “Martyr of Al-Quds” and said that he had devoted his entire life to the cause of the liberation of Al-Quds and support for the oppressed Palestinian people.

Allama Sajid Ali Naqvi said that standing against oppression and supporting the oppressed represents the essence of resistance, and described Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah as a prominent figure in that struggle.

He said that the death of a religious fighter is undoubtedly a major loss; however, according to his message, the blood of the deceased martyr would continue to keep the spirit of resistance alive. He added that Nasrallah had dedicated every moment of his life to the cause of Islam, defending the oppressed, and opposing what he described as oppression and global imperialism.

Referring to a saying attributed to Imam Ali (AS), Allama Naqvi said that standing against an oppressor and supporting the oppressed is a fundamental responsibility of every individual.

Allama Sajid Ali Naqvi further said that resistance against oppression is not merely a practical action but also an ideology and a matter of belief. He stated that while its methods may change, its fundamental principles and objectives remain constant.

He described what he called the path of the “Martyr of Resistance” as one based on Islamic honor and faith, saying that a person may sacrifice their life but does not submit to what he termed global imperialism, hegemonic powers and Zionism.

He said that humanity, particularly the Muslim world, is currently facing what he described as aggression and genocide by such powers.

Allama Naqvi emphasized that whether it is Al-Quds or the Holy Mosques in Makkah and Madinah, their sanctity is a responsibility of concern to humanity and the Muslim world, and that Islamic symbols transcend divisions of all kinds.

He urged the Muslim Ummah to firmly hold to unity in accordance with Quranic teachings, saying that unity is the means toward strength and success in confronting what he described as global imperialism.
