Central Elections to Be Held Before April 2027, Allama Sajid Naqvi Tells Central Delegation

Shiite News: A key delegation from the Central Majlis-e-Amila met with Allama Syed Sajid Ali Naqvi, during which they held detailed discussions on the overall situation in the country as well as community, religious, organizational and political matters. The delegation included Central Vice Presidents Allama Arif Hussain Wahidi and Allama Muhammad Ramzan Tauqeer, Central Additional Secretary Allama Syed Nazir Abbas Taqvi, and Syed Izhar Bukhari.

Two important organizational and political matters were particularly discussed during the meeting. The participants also reviewed the concerns among organizational workers regarding the election campaign and results of the elections held in Gilgit-Baltistan in June this year.

On the occasion, Allama Syed Sajid Ali Naqvi said that a meeting of the Political Election Committee would soon be convened to conduct a detailed review and analysis of the Gilgit-Baltistan election results, their causes and factors, and the concerns among organizational workers.

He also assured the delegation that preparations for the central elections were underway and that the central elections would be held before April 2027, according to the statement.
