Pakistan-Iran Relationship Goes Beyond Geography, Rooted in Faith and History, Says Pakistani Ambassador in Tehran

Shiite News: Pakistan’s ambassador to Tehran has emphasized the importance of Muslim unity, saying that differences should never be allowed to overshadow our shared humanity. He said this principle is particularly important for Muslims around the world in the present era.

Speaking in detail about Pakistan-Iran relations, the ambassador said that although Iran and Pakistan are close neighbors, their relationship extends far beyond geography. He described the bond between the two countries as strong and enduring, rooted in faith, history, literature and a shared civilization. He said that when Pakistani and Iranian people come together to express their reverence and respect for the Holy Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him and his family), they think beyond their national borders.

The Pakistani ambassador further said that both countries belong to a great civilization that has historically transcended borders through knowledge, poetry and literature, science and faith. He expressed hope that Pakistan and Iran would continue to strengthen the bonds of friendship, academic and university cooperation, cultural exchange and mutual collaboration that connect the two brotherly nations.
