Khatam al-Nabiyyin Complex Issue Should Be Resolved Through Dialogue, Says Allama Syed Sajid Ali Naqvi

Shiite News: Allama Syed Sajid Ali Naqvi, responding to the situation surrounding the Khatam al-Nabiyyin Complex in Afghanistan, said that the fundamental purpose of the complex and its affiliated Tamaddon TV is to promote knowledge and culture, advance religious values, and bring people together in unity. He said these institutions have consistently carried out their educational and cultural services in pursuit of this noble objective.

He stated that, under the current circumstances, the issue can be resolved peacefully through mutual understanding and dialogue, while mismanagement and the use of force would only make the situation more complicated and serious. On the occasion, Allama Sajid Naqvi also expressed deep sympathy and complete solidarity with all officials, teachers, scholars and other affected individuals associated with the Khatam al-Nabiyyin Complex.

Allama Syed Sajid Ali Naqvi also drew the attention of the United Nations and international educational and human rights organizations to the situation. He noted that September 9 is observed by the United Nations as the International Day to Protect Education from Attack, with the aim of highlighting the importance of education and literacy in societies.

He stressed that such occasions should not be limited to symbolic observances; concrete and practical measures should also be taken to protect educational and cultural centers. International organizations should play an effective and practical role in safeguarding these institutions and defending the rights of the teachers, scholars and workers associated with them.
