Bilawal Bhutto Meets Opposition Leaders Allama Raja Nasir Abbas and Mahmood Khan Achakzai in Islamabad

Shiite News: Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari met opposition leaders Mahmood Khan Achakzai and Allama Raja Nasir Abbas in Islamabad.

The meeting was also attended by PTI Secretary-General Salman Akram Raja, Tehreek Tahafuz-e-Aain Pakistan Secretary-General Asad Qaiser, Vice Chairman Mustafa Nawaz Khokhar, Chief Whip Aamir Dogar, National Assembly member Adil Bazai, and spokesperson Akhundzada Hussain.

Bilawal Bhutto was accompanied by Raja Pervaiz Ashraf, Sherry Rehman, Naveed Qamar, and Nadeem Afzal Chan.

During the meeting, the participants held detailed discussions on parliamentary affairs and the country’s political situation. Bilawal Bhutto requested the opposition leaders to join parliamentary committees and play an active role. The opposition leaders responded that they would make a decision after consulting the PTI chairman.

Both sides agreed to increase contacts regarding legislation and electoral reforms. PPP leadership emphasized the importance of the opposition’s role in Parliament in ensuring transparency in elections.

Bilawal also welcomed the transfer of Imran Khan to a hospital for treatment following a Supreme Court decision, describing it as a positive development and consistent with democratic traditions.
