Araghchi Holds Calls with General Asim Munir and Turkish Foreign Minister, Warns Against Possible U.S. Military Escalation

Shiite News: Iran’s Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi held separate telephone conversations with Pakistan’s Chief of Army Staff, Field Marshal Asim Munir, and Türkiye’s Foreign Minister, Hakan Fidan, to discuss the latest regional developments, U.S. actions, and their potential consequences.

According to Iran’s Foreign Ministry, the discussions focused on concerns over what it described as U.S. actions that could increase regional tensions and instability. During the calls, it was emphasized that such developments could pose a serious threat to peace and security across the region.

Araghchi also issued a warning against any potential U.S. military action, stating that the Islamic Republic of Iran is fully prepared to defend its sovereignty, territorial integrity, and national security. He said that any act of aggression or attack would receive a decisive and effective response.
