ISO Holds Annual Youm-e-Hussain (AS) Event in Karachi

Shiite News: Karachi: The annual Youm-e-Hussain (AS) program was organized by the Imamia Students Organization (ISO) at the Federal Urdu University, Abdul Haq Campus, on the occasion of Muharram-ul-Haram. The event was attended by a large number of religious scholars from different schools of thought, teachers, students, intellectuals, and people from various walks of life.

The purpose of the event was to highlight the philosophy of Imam Hussain’s (AS) martyrdom and the enduring message of Karbala.

Speakers stated that the Battle of Karbala was a decisive confrontation between truth and falsehood, where Imam Hussain (AS), through the immense sacrifices of his family members and loyal companions, demonstrated the practical values of safeguarding Islam, justice, truth, and human dignity.

On the occasion, Maulvi Manzar-ul-Haq Thanvi said that the challenges facing Pakistan and the wider Muslim world could be effectively addressed through unity, brotherhood, solidarity, and mutual harmony.

Meanwhile, Maulana Asghar Dars said that Hussainiyat symbolizes truth, justice, freedom, and humanity, and that only by following these principles can a just and equitable society be established.
