The martyrdom of Imam Zain ul Abideen (AS) is an everlasting story of patience and steadfastness, says Senator Allama Raja Nasir Abbas Jafri

Shiite News: Senator Allama Raja Nasir Abbas Jafri said that the martyrdom of Imam Zain ul Abideen (Imam Ali ibn al Hussain, AS) revives the timeless legacy of patience, devotion, perseverance, and steadfastness in upholding the truth.

He said that following the tragic event of Karbala, Imam Zain ul Abideen (AS) endured the hardships of captivity but neither bowed before oppression nor allowed the message of Islam brought by the Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) to fade.

The senator stated that through his supplications, worship, exemplary character, knowledge, and conduct, Imam Zain ul Abideen (AS) nurtured the Muslim community in a way that continues to serve as a guiding light for humanity. He added that Al-Sahifa al-Sajjadiyya and the Treatise on Rights (Risalat al-Huquq) remain invaluable treasures of human rights, justice, piety, and devotion to Allah.

He emphasized that today there is a need to draw lessons from the life of Imam Zain ul Abideen (AS), including patience, piety, service to humanity, steadfastness against oppression, and maintaining a strong relationship with Allah, as these values lead to success in this world and the Hereafter.

On the occasion of the martyrdom anniversary of Imam Zain ul Abideen (AS), he extended heartfelt condolences to the entire Muslim Ummah, particularly the followers and lovers of Ahlul Bayt (AS). He prayed that Allah grants everyone the ability to follow the teachings of the Holy Ahlul Bayt (AS), spread their message, and remain steadfast on the path of truth and justice. Ameen.
