Ancholi Mourners Hold Strong Protest, Burn US Flag in Response to Police and Administrative Intervention
Shiite News: Mourners in Ancholi staged a strong protest against what they described as unnecessary interference by police and the administration. In response to the removal of American and Israeli flags in Karachi, mourners of Imam Hussain (AS) set an American flag on fire during their demonstration.
The young men who had been arrested for burning the American flag were later released. Upon their release, they once again burned an American flag outside Yousuf Plaza Police Station and subsequently participated in mourning activities at Al-Mohsin Imam Bargah, where they continued the observance of Azadari.
