Shiite News: Iran’s Ambassador to Pakistan, Reza Amiri Moghadam, stated that Pakistan’s Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi called him after returning from Tehran and congratulated him on the success of negotiations with Iran.

The Iranian ambassador described the mediation efforts of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Field Marshal Asim Munir as commendable. He also praised the sincere diplomatic role played by Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar and Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi.

Ambassador Amiri Moghadam said that the sincere efforts of the Pakistani government and military could pave the way for lasting peace in the region. He also credited the steadfastness of the Iranian armed forces and the resilience of the brave Iranian nation as key factors behind the success of the negotiations.

The Iranian ambassador further stated that the initiative and sincere efforts of Pakistan’s leadership were an important part of the diplomatic progress.
