Yemen Leader Urges Resistance, Criticizes US and Israel Policies

18 April, 2026 10:53

I seek refuge in Allah from Satan, the outcast.

In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful.

Praise is to Allah, Lord of the Worlds. I believe that there is no god but Allah, the Sovereign and the Manifest Truth, and that our master Muhammad is His servant, Messenger, and Last Prophet.

O Allah! Confer Your salat and blessings upon Muhammad and the Family of Muhammad as You conferred Your salat and blessings upon Ibrahim and the Family of Ibrahim. You are Owner of Praise, Owner of Glory! And be pleased with Muhammad’s good companions and all Your righteous servants and mujahidin.

Brothers and sisters, peace be upon you and the mercy of Allah and His blessings.

In today’s speech, we discuss the current situation and recent developments within the broader context of the confrontation between the Axis of Islam, Jihad, and Resistance on the one hand, and the enemies of the Ummah on the other—which have carried out a major act of aggression against the Islamic Republic of Iran, with the aim of advancing a dangerous phase of the Zionist scheme targeting our Arab and Islamic region under the banner of ‘reshaping the Middle East’.

It is well known that the current truce, which is set to last for two weeks, came about because America and Israel were compelled to accept it following their significant failure to achieve their objectives in targeting the Islamic Republic of Iran. Foremost among these objectives were the overthrow of the Islamic system, the subjugation of the Muslim Iranian people, and the removal of the Islamic Republic, given its role as a major Islamic force confronting the Zionist project and supporting the peoples of the region in facing the Israeli enemy.

The enemies were forced into this truce after suffering heavy losses in terms of personnel, with hundreds of American officers and soldiers killed and wounded. They also sustained significant losses in their military equipment, in addition to the destruction of American military bases in the region. It is well known that America lost dozens of aircraft of various types that were destroyed during its aggression against the Islamic Republic of Iran, including fighter jets, military transport aircraft, aerial refuelling aircraft, early warning and command-and-control aircraft, advanced drones, and military helicopters.

There was also a major failure in the operation planned by the enemy in Isfahan. They have also sustained significant economic losses, including the direct costs of the war, depletion of military stockpiles of missiles and bombs, and the growing demand for aircraft maintenance as operations continued. In addition, financial markets in America and beyond have suffered losses amounting to trillions, accompanied by rising inflation and increasing prices across America, Europe, and many other parts of the world—particularly in fuel and other goods. America has also suffered unprecedented losses in its agricultural sector, the worst in a century. Moreover, the Israeli enemy has sustained heavy losses, as waves of missiles and drones struck its factories, bases, and infrastructure in occupied Palestine.

Nevertheless, America and Israel have no justification whatsoever for this aggression against the Islamic Republic of Iran. This has threatened the security and stability of the region as a whole and led to global repercussions—particularly in the economic sphere and overall international stability.

It is widely recognised around the world that this aggression is fundamentally a Zionist act of aggression, driven by satanic, hostile, and criminal objectives targeting our Arab and Islamic region as a whole. It has no legal, legitimate, or logical justification. For this reason, many European regimes, as well as NATO and numerous countries called upon by America, refused to participate in it. Unfortunately, some Arab regimes became involved by opening their airspace and territory and by providing various forms of support and assistance for this aggression—an aggression directed against the entire region and targeting this Ummah.

At the global level, there is widespread rejection of this aggression due to the consequences it has produced—not out of love or sympathy for the Islamic Republic of Iran, nor for the Iranian people, nor for the peoples of the region. What has led many European countries, NATO members, and numerous other states—those that often join the United States in aggressive alliances against the peoples of our Ummah—to reconsider their positions is the realisation that this aggression is costly, entails significant losses, is expected to fail, has negative repercussions for the global economy, and lacks any justification or necessity. For these reasons, they see no benefit for their countries in becoming involved.

For this reason, we see, at the international level, a clear stance calling for an end to this aggression. We also see open and evident American frustration reflected in the statements of the criminal Trump and in his repeated criticism of various countries for refusing to become involved alongside him. At the same time, he praises those who have become entangled with him among certain Arab regimes. Indeed, he openly states that some Arab regimes became involved with him in this aggression, whereas he had expected that Western regimes—not Arab ones—would be the ones to join him. This is a source of shame for some Arab regimes, which should have refrained from such involvement for many reasons, including considerations arising from their Islamic affiliation and the interests of the region and its peoples.

They should also have refrained from such involvement, given that America and Israel represent foreign, aggressive forces that have come to our region with evil, aggression, injustice, and criminal conduct, directly threatening the security and stability of our region, our countries, and our peoples. As for the peoples of the region, they are an enduring, deeply rooted and steadfast reality—one that no one can erase from the map to make way for those who have come to carry out aggression, occupation, plunder, the destruction of these countries, and domination over these peoples.

For this reason, as we have said, the Zionist enemy—through its American and Israeli arms—was compelled to accept a two-week truce for negotiations. If these negotiations succeed, they may lead to a longer period of stability or to an agreement to end the aggression.

When the United States turned to negotiations, it did so according to its usual approach, marked by arrogance, conceit, and tyranny. It entered the negotiations seeking to dictate its terms and to achieve through negotiations what it had failed to achieve through military aggression. It is clear that when these negotiations began and America moved to impose its dictates, it complicated the process and prevented the attainment of reasonable, logical, and fair outcomes—even at the most basic level—because it speaks the language of tyranny.

The American approach to negotiations, marked by arrogance and tyranny, is based on imposing dictates and forcing others to submit to its conditions. These conditions violate the sovereignty of countries, deprive peoples of their legitimate rights, and undermine their freedom and independence. It also puts forward impossible demands that no independent country could accept. It does not respect the rights of others, nor does it operate on the basis of fairness, mutual understanding, or give-and-take; rather, it seeks to impose its baseless dictates. For this reason, the first round of negotiations in Pakistan failed, and there are ongoing efforts to hold a second round.

However, the problem lies in the way America is handling this ceasefire, as it is acting in ways that undermine it. It is allowing the Israeli enemy to single out Lebanon and continue its intense, criminal, and brutal aggression against the Lebanese people, while seeking to push as far as possible towards a ground invasion in the south. The Israelis are advancing with five military divisions, exerting pressure in southern Lebanon. This constitutes a violation of the ceasefire and a failure to adhere to its terms, as well as a major act of aggression against a key front within the Axis of Jihad and Resistance—one that is included in the ceasefire agreement. The continuation of aggression against Lebanon threatens the ceasefire in every sense of the word and also endangers a significant equation established by the Axis in this round of confrontation: the principle of ‘the unity of fronts.’

It is not possible for the Axis—at the level of the Islamic Republic of Iran and the rest of its fronts—to stand idly by and merely watch while the Zionist enemy commits the most horrific crimes, applying maximum military pressure against Lebanon, targeting the Islamic Resistance in Lebanon and the Lebanese people with all its brutality, and seeking to invade the south. This is something that cannot be tolerated under any circumstances. It is reckless, criminal, and savage aggression, through which the Israeli enemy seeks to achieve the greatest possible gains in line with its objectives within the Zionist project—occupation, killing, destruction, and domination over Lebanon: politically, economically, and in terms of security, as well as through the occupation of large areas of Lebanese territory at this stage. For this reason, it cannot be ignored or overlooked.

The Americans and Israelis resort to fragile truces at times when they are unable to achieve their objectives, instead of seriously moving towards ending their aggression, genuinely committing to a ceasefire, and adhering to agreements and obligations. This is clearly reflected in Gaza. There, the pattern has been one of clear non-compliance by the enemies with their defined obligations—which, above all, represent basic human obligations owed to the Palestinian people. These include a complete halt to the aggression against the people of Gaza, withdrawal from the Gaza Strip, and allowing the entry of humanitarian aid such as food, medicine, and other essential supplies. All of these are basic humanitarian entitlements.

The same pattern is clearly reflected in the Israeli enemy’s actions in Lebanon. Even before this current round of American-Israeli aggression against the Islamic Republic of Iran and Lebanon, over a period of fifteen months, the Israeli enemy failed to adhere to the agreement it had with the Lebanese state—an agreement backed by guarantors and containing clear, defined commitments. Nevertheless, the Israeli enemy continued its occupation of positions in southern Lebanon. It continued to carry out daily killings, resulting in hundreds of martyrs over fifteen months. It persisted in abductions, the demolition of homes and farmland, the destruction of buildings, and incursions.

It has continued all forms of aggression, violations, including airspace violations, even going so far as poisoning agricultural crops by spraying them with pesticides and toxins. All forms of aggression and violations have persisted over the fifteen months, because—as has been emphasized repeatedly—it seeks to impose a state of unchecked violation against this Ummah.

The same pattern is evident in Syria. Despite the known stance of the groups in control there—which assert that they do not oppose the Israeli enemy, but rather oppose others—this has been to no avail. Southern Syria remains occupied, and violations continue in every form: killings, abductions, incursions —indeed, all forms of aggression persist there.

Thus, the Israeli enemy, together with the American enemy, fuels instability and crises in the region and across the world through its aggressive approach, which is entirely based on implementing a Zionist plan—an aggressive and satanic plan directed against our Islamic Ummah. They do not honour commitments, agreements, or treaties, nor do they give any regard to international law, the United Nations, or anything at all. As a result, their actions give rise to serious dangers, widespread instability, major problems, and threats to security and stability both regionally and globally. They are exactly as Allah says about them, {‘Why is it that every time they make a covenant, a group of them casts it aside?‘}[Al-Baqarah 2:100].

For this reason, all blame, both internationally and within our region—in the Arab and Islamic region, in West Asia, which is referred to by the enemies as the ‘Middle East’ that is the most affected and most targeted—should be directed towards the Americans and Israelis. This is because their aggressive approach has no justification and no necessity, while at the same time producing far-reaching repercussions that have affected the global economy, as well as international security and stability.

As for our peoples, they must maintain a high level of awareness of the true nature of the dangers, the reality of the enemy, and where the real problem lies: namely, in the American-Israeli aggressive approach, which is based on implementing the Zionist plan that targets these peoples and this Ummah. They must also be fully aware that these are external forces in this region, defined by their aggression, evil, and criminal conduct, and that all efforts to confront this aggression fall within a legitimate responsibility—moral, humanitarian, religious, and national responsibility in all its dimensions—incumbent upon our peoples to resist it.

These are clear and self-evident facts. Indeed, the problem in the reality of our Islamic Ummah, particularly in the Arab context—given the misguided policies adopted by some Arab regimes aligned with America and Israel—is that they lay blame on our peoples and the free members of our Ummah, holding them responsible for all that occurs, despite the fact that it is they who stand against the American and Israeli assault targeting this Ummah. They also treat actions by the United States and Israel as if it were merely a series of isolated events, limited crises, and a narrow set of problems, rather than actions linked to a broader plan targeting this region in the most severe and far-reaching forms: to strip the peoples of this Ummah of their freedom, to occupy their homelands, to plunder their resources, and to subjugate them. This reflects a fundamental flaw in the perception of some.

Even in Lebanon, the approach adopted by the Lebanese authorities—along with some Arab regimes—is to hold the Lebanese resistance responsible and to assign blame to it for the actions carried out by the Israeli enemy. Yet it is widely known and beyond dispute that the Israeli enemy and Zionist Jews carry out their aggression against Lebanon from occupied Palestine, which they seized through injustice and aggression, where they committed the most heinous crimes against the Palestinian people before elsewhere. From there, they proceeded to target Lebanon and other countries as part of the Zionist project aimed at targeting this Ummah. In earlier phases, they even went so far as to invade all of Lebanon and reach Beirut, long before the establishment of Hezbollah as a resistance and jihad movement to expel the Zionist occupier through resistance, jihad, sacrifice, and armed struggle. It is widely acknowledged in Lebanon and beyond that the Israeli enemy was forced out of Lebanon solely through armed resistance and struggle—not through negotiations, concessions, UN Security Council resolutions, the United Nations, or international mediation.

The Zionist Jewish occupation of Palestine, within the framework of the wider Zionist project—shared by Western Zionists, Zionist Jews, and Israelis and directed against this Ummah—is the root cause of the conflict and the origin of the region’s problems. It is upon this basis that they target this entire region. This understanding must be firmly established among our peoples: The origin of all problems and instability in this region lies in the Zionist project, through which the occupation of Palestine began. As long as the occupation of Palestine continues, instability in this region will persist, and the Zionist project will continue to target all these peoples and countries. The situation in these lands, among these peoples, and across this region will never be stable until the Jews are defeated and expelled from Palestine. They will never cease their hostility towards the peoples of this Ummah unless they are confronted through resistance and jihad in the path of Allah so as to defeat them, repel their harm, end their presence, and dismantle their Zionist project in its entirety. This is a fundamental and established truth, affirmed by the Holy Quran, by real-world evidence, and, indeed, by more than seventy years of experience. Throughout all these decades since the beginning of the Zionist Jewish occupation of Palestine, evil has been brought to this region at the hands of those Jews, their supporters, and those behind them—initially Britain and its Western allies, and later the United States, which primarily assumed the leading role from Britain.

The aggressive nature and hostile conduct of Zionist Jews is widely known, definitive, and evident in every respect: in their culture, beliefs, project, and criminal practices. It has been continuous and unbroken: Their record of crimes is a daily one. For over seventy-five years, crimes have been committed every single day against Arabs, the Palestinian people, and the wider Islamic Ummah. In other words, there is no other issue in today’s global conflicts with such continuous, decisive, and overwhelming daily evidence across all ongoing events around the world. Therefore, they are a source of harm to this region and its peoples.

Accordingly, any movement within this Ummah to confront the evil of Zionist Jews, their supporters, and the infidel West behind them is a legitimate and rightful stance of this Ummah in defence against its unjust aggressors, wrongdoers, and criminals, about whom Allah (Glory be to Him) says, {‘And you see many of them hastening into sin and aggression and the devouring of [what is] unlawful. How wretched is what they have been doing‘}[Al-Ma’idah 5:62].

Therefore, when turning to the situation in Lebanon, the problem in Lebanon is not Hezbollah or its weapons; rather, the problem lies with the Zionist Jews and their weapons. The Israeli weaponry supplied to them by America and the West is what poses a threat to this Ummah; it is what has been used to kill thousands of civilians, including children and women, in occupied Palestine, in Lebanon, and in other parts of this Ummah. Even at the level of nuclear armament, all the weapons in the hands of Zionist Jews pose a threat to this Ummah and a danger to it. They constitute the means through which such crimes are carried out against it. Ultimately, they represent a threat to international security and stability, given the strategic importance of this region worldwide.

Thus, blame, criticism, and protest must be directed at the Israeli enemy and those who stand behind it and support it, rather than at those who confront it on the basis of their legitimate right to resist aggression, injustice, occupation, criminality, and tyranny.

Those who pose a threat to Lebanon, to the wider region as a whole, and to the peoples of this Ummah are Zionist Jews and their weapons; the real danger to this Ummah lies in the Zionist project itself.

Since the early years of the Zionist Jewish occupation of Palestine, they have consistently acted with hostility towards Lebanon, even decades before the Islamic Revolution in Iran. The threat has long persisted: The Zionist Jews targeted Palestine and occupied it; they targeted Lebanon, Syria, Jordan, and Egypt. All of this took place long before the Islamic Revolution in Iran. Thus, their evil, aggression, and occupation were directed against the Arabs and the Arab countries through occupation, killing, and the perpetration of the most heinous crimes, driven by their ambitions. The Zionist project itself, manifested in direct occupation, has been a threat first and foremost to the Arabs—their countries and their peoples. Therefore, as Arabs, we are a people with a cause—one that concerns us through our Islamic identity and concerns us as a targeted Ummah, whose peoples were targeted even before the Islamic Revolution in Iran. When it comes to the term ‘Iran’s proxies’, used by Americans and Israelis to describe those within this Ummah who confront Zionist Jews targeting the entire Ummah and echoed by their mouthpieces in the Arab region, this is a baseless term with no basis in reality.

In reality, the Islamic Republic of Iran is supportive of these peoples and shares with them fundamental principles rooted in Islamic identity, particularly regarding the security and stability of this region. For a large part of it—the so-called ‘Middle East’—is under threat, as the enemies strive to reshape it, bring it under control, and exploit it, given its major strategic importance. This major significance has become evident in its impact on the global economy and the international order.

The Zionist violation of Lebanon has continued through all previous stages. Lebanon was occupied, and the Israeli enemy was later expelled through armed struggle, jihad, and resistance. In fact, the Islamic resistance in Lebanon emerged within that context, as part of the expulsion of the Israeli enemy, and as a legitimate act in the pursuit of liberating Lebanon of Israeli occupation. Thereafter, the Israeli enemy continued to violate Lebanese airspace persistently, maintaining threats against Lebanon. A state of deterrence existed in the post-2000 period up to 2006. After 2006, this deterrent capacity was further strengthened as a result of the strength of the resistance and the public support it enjoyed. What continues to serve as a major incentive for the Israeli enemy is the significant dysfunction within the Lebanese state authority; it creates opportunities for this very enemy to exploit and fosters hopes of inciting internal strife within Lebanon. In contrast, the resistance remains an ongoing and steadfast force, and the people of jihad and resistance in Lebanon are a firm, strong, and self-sacrificing community, marked by courage and resilience, and possessing all the essential elements of strength and stability. Their position is extremely robust, and their choice is both legitimate and rightful, representing the most effective option for expelling the Israeli enemy from Lebanon.

Following the Battle of ‘Uli al-Ba’s’, the Lebanese authorities assumed responsibility. However, over the course of fifteen months, the Israeli enemy has not ceased its daily acts of aggression—killing Lebanese civilians, abducting people, conducting incursions, occupying territory, demolishing homes, and spraying farms and agricultural crops with pesticides in order to destroy and contaminate them. It has carried out all forms of aggression, with no result from the policy of appeasement and concessions adopted by the Lebanese authorities, which have instead embraced the Israeli narrative by framing the problem as Hezbollah’s weapons. Rather than protecting their people or standing with the resistance, they consistently shift towards blaming Hezbollah, blaming the resistance, and directing criticism at Hezbollah.

What Hezbollah and the resistance carried out in Operation Al-Asf Al-Ma’koul was a legitimate act and an unavoidable necessity to repel the threat against Lebanon, to confront the enemy, and to resist the Israeli enemy. It was a lawful act of defence of Lebanon and its people, carried out with remarkable courage, despite the scale of the aggression and the mobilisation of five Zionist military divisions.

Lebanon is included in the armistice agreement, and it is the duty of the entire axis to support it and to exert pressure on the Zionist enemy to comply with the truce. The Lebanese front is a front for the entire Ummah in confronting a common enemy, and it is the most significant supporting front with a direct impact in backing the Palestinian people. Its great importance to Palestine, Gaza, the Palestinian people, and the Palestinian cause is well known and evident, as it is a direct front confronting the Israeli enemy. Therefore, it is essential that it receives support from the entire Ummah.

The massacres committed by the Israeli enemy in Lebanon, along with destruction, occupation, and acts of criminality, must not be met with silence by the Ummah. There must be a clear, declared, and explicit stance at the official Arab and Islamic levels. It is unfortunate that the prevailing official position across much of the Arab and Islamic world has not even risen to the level of positions taken by some European states and other countries, including Canada, Australia, Spain, and several other European and non-European states. They have adopted clear positions calling for a ceasefire agreement that includes Lebanon, for adherence to and implementation of that agreement, and for the stabilisation of the region in general, while also expressing opposition to the continued Israeli aggression against Lebanon. However, at the official Arab level, the situation is extremely weak, and some even encourage the Israeli enemy to continue its attacks on Lebanon. For this reason, it is unacceptable whatsoever for a ceasefire agreement—at the level of the axis and the region as a whole—to be in place while the aggression against Lebanon continues, including the targeting of the resistance and the Lebanese people all in all its current forms. What the Israeli enemy is carrying out represents an escalation at its highest level, involving the commission of the most heinous crimes, attempts to expand the scope of occupation in southern Lebanon, and all forms of aggression. Such a level of escalation and criminality cannot be met with silence.

At the level of the Axis, and in keeping with the commitment to the unity of the fronts, there must be a firm stance in support of the Islamic Resistance in Lebanon, Hezbollah, and the Lebanese people. This is indispensable. One cannot look the other way, nor remain silent, while the Israeli enemy persists in its crimes, its aggression, and its reckless disregard for agreements and obligations.

As for the Zionist attacks on Palestine, they continue unabated. The Palestinian issue—the Palestinian cause—must remain present, whatever the scale of events elsewhere in the region. For the root of all that is happening across the region lies in the Ummah’s failure, from the very outset, to support and stand by the Palestinian people. Out of that failure have arisen all these dangers now facing the Ummah. Each time it neglects its duty and its major responsibility to repel the Israeli enemy and liberate occupied Palestine, the Israeli enemy grows stronger and directs its evil and threat towards the rest of this Ummah.

Palestine is the first trench of this Ummah and the forward bastion in confronting the Israeli enemy. The more the Israeli enemy succeeds in taking control of it and settling the matter there, the more it will be able to turn its attention to the rest of the peoples.

In Palestine, the Israeli enemy continues to violate the sanctity of the Al-Aqsa Mosque. We must always remember its sacred status, its place among Islam’s holy sites, and the religious responsibility towards it. It is vital to keep reminding people of this because the Israeli enemy benefits from a policy of desensitisation that makes the daily Zionist-Jewish violations at the Al-Aqsa Mosque a routine sight for many among this Ummah and its peoples. This is a grave sin in every sense of the word. The Ummah must maintain a constant sense of responsibility towards the Al-Aqsa Mosque and the holy places, and it must recognise the grave danger of neglecting them, for such neglect carries serious consequences for it.

If the Ummah reaches a state where it no longer cares about its sanctities, this emboldens the enemy against it in everything. It becomes an ummah for which nothing holds value, an ummah ready to be crushed, humiliated, subjugated, and enslaved by its enemies.

The Zionist Jews continue to violate the sanctity of the Al-Aqsa Mosque through their daily incursions—which have become almost daily, constantly repeated—and they announce new plans to further desecrate its sanctity. Therefore, we must remember that we have an ongoing issue and understand the reality of this conflict with the Israeli enemy. Is the matter of the Al-Aqsa Mosque an Iranian matter concerning the Islamic Republic of Iran, or is it an Islamic matter, one for which every Muslim—and the whole Islamic Ummah—bears responsibility? We are an ummah with a cause, one that concerns our sanctities and our peoples and entails confronting an enemy that targets us in everything—in our religion and our worldly life.

The Israeli enemy targets all the historic Islamic landmarks in the city of Al-Quds, constantly seeking to Judaise the city and erase its landmarks. It continues to confiscate and usurp lands in the West Bank, demolish homes, forcibly displace residents, and commit all forms of assaults and violations. It continues its aggression on Gaza with killings; the number of martyrs among the Palestinian people has now reached hundreds. This is despite the ceasefire agreement to stop the aggression on Gaza, and despite what they call a ‘peace council’. Even so, the Israeli enemy continues its daily killings and abductions against the Palestinian people in Gaza. It also continues to blow up homes and to tighten the siege while allowing in only limited quantities of medicine and food. What is entering does not meet the need. It may amount to no more than 35% of the agreed number of lorries that were supposed to enter carrying food, medicine, and humanitarian supplies for the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip. Thus, what enters is a small proportion. The Palestinian people in Gaza continue to endure a tragedy in every sense of the word. Regarding shelter, basic needs have not been met. Epidemics and diseases are spreading, and suffering is severe in every respect. Even rainfall has become a source of hardship, as people have no shelter. Reconstruction efforts are stalled, and even temporary housing, such as caravans and tents, has not been provided in sufficient quantities. They truly endure relentless restrictions, blockade, and torment.

Furthermore, the Israeli enemy has not withdrawn from the areas it occupied in the Gaza Strip, although this is one of the key points of the agreement. It is obliged to stop the killings of the Palestinian people in Gaza, to halt its aggression aimed at exterminating them, and to withdraw from the areas of Gaza it occupies. However, it continues to occupy a large area without honouring its obligation to pull out.

Additionally, the Israeli enemy mobilises criminal gangs of proxies to target the Palestinian people and assault civilians across the Gaza Strip. It exerts every possible effort to harass and torment the Palestinian people. There are signs that the Israeli enemy is preparing a new massacre and major crimes in the Gaza Strip, and this must never be met with silence.

The entire Muslim Ummah bears a profound religious, humanitarian, and moral responsibility to fulfil. It cannot absolve itself of that responsibility through neglect, nor through abandoning the Palestinian people in the face of the genocide they are enduring. Furthermore, the more the Ummah neglects this duty, the more grave consequences it will face. The Israeli enemy poses a threat to this Ummah; the more success it achieves in the battle in Palestine, the more the conflict will spread to other lands, and one day, it will reach Egypt. The Israeli enemy is intent on targeting Egypt and Jordan and continuing its occupation of Syria—all of these countries are targeted. The Zionist scheme is one that the enemy is working to realise; it is not mere empty rhetoric. Therefore, the Ummah must act with genuine seriousness and a profound sense of responsibility in order to attain victory from Allah (the Almighty) when it responds to Him and engages in its holy responsibilities to perform jihad for sake of Allah and push back the looming danger: Allah says, {‘Fight in the cause of Allah or [at least] defend yourselves‘}[Ali ‘Imran 3:167]. {‘Or [at least] defend yourselves‘}: If the sacred values, the Islamic, important principles, and the Islamic sanctities no longer hold value in your eyes, then at least defend yourselves and your countries from the great danger posed by those enemies, who are enemies in every sense of the word.

The Israeli enemy, with its Zionist scheme, alongside its American partner, benefits from the discouragement and confusion fostered by some Arab regimes and forces. Such regimes and forces align themselves with the Americans and Israelis, which is the path of certain failure—a path that leads only to ruin. In the end, they will reap nothing but loss. They themselves are heading towards ruin, yet they also seek to drag the Ummah down with them. They constantly direct blame, criticism, defamation, and suspicion towards the free people of this Ummah and its mujahidin. At the same time, they act in ways that serve the Israeli enemy, dissuading this Ummah from fulfilling its responsibility and working to distort public consciousness and turn the truth on its head.

It is beyond doubt that if this Ummah were to move with sincere will and serious determination to repel the Zionist danger, confront the Zionist scheme, and put an end to the Israeli enemy’s aggression against the peoples of this region, it would have a major impact and would achieve the desired results.

We have seen the great effectiveness of the principle of unified fronts in confronting the American-Israeli assault in this round, during the forty-day confrontation. The outcome was highly significant. We also saw the great fruit of the foundation on which the Islamic system in Iran is built : a commitment to liberation, building strength, and ensuring that the Islamic Republic and its Iranian Muslim people possess resilience and power in the face of any aggression. We have seen how effective the Iranian response was to an assault in which the Americans and Israelis made every effort in their campaign of destruction and targeting to decide the battle in their own favour. Yet they failed. Why did they fail? It is because of the preparation and readiness of the Islamic Republic and its jihadi and libertarian spirit. We saw the great effect and positive impact of having united fronts and mobilising all resistance fronts.

This carries great importance on the religious, Islamic, and moral levels, for it embodies Islamic principles. One of the most important Islamic principles is the responsibility of our Ummah to hold fast to the rope of Allah altogether, to cooperate in righteousness and piety, just as Allah commanded us: {‘And all of you must hold firmly to the rope of Allah all together and do not be divided‘}[Ali ‘Imran 3:103]. When this Ummah comes together—when its free and decent people and its mujahidin unite in confronting their enemies—this is a sacred, great, and blessed act, and it embodies major Islamic principles. Yet the enemies seek to distort it, criminalise it, and find fault with the mujahidin and free people of this Ummah for having cooperated and united in a common stance against an enemy that threatens all. Then come their labels, such as ‘Iran’s proxies’—an American-Israeli term intended to present the Arabs as an ummah with no cause of its own, an ummah to which no cause is acknowledged. Neither its homelands are treated as a cause, nor its sacred sites, nor its freedom, nor indeed anything connected with it. In accepting that logic, governments accept this: They effectively admit that the Arabs are an ummah with no cause and no rights, and that whoever among them rises up when the Jews occupy his land, targets his people, and denies them all their rights is merely a proxy of Iran. It is as though this entire region were solely Iran’s concern, when in fact it is the responsibility of the whole Islamic Ummah, not of one party alone.

There is a moral value, a value of faith, and a human value in the people of this Ummah—its states and its peoples—working together to confront their enemies, who pose a danger to them and openly practise tyranny.

American and Israeli tyranny now stands exposed before the world. Even within America itself, many among the American people, along with various American groups and constituencies, have come to recognise clearly that Trump, the Trump administration, the US Congress dominated by the Jewish Zionist organisation AIPAC, and the official American line serve Zionism exclusively through the aggression they wage in our region. They have come to understand that the aggression against our countries and peoples and the targeting of our region is Zionist in nature and driven by Zionist pressure. This is not a cause pursued for the benefit of Western countries, whether as states or as peoples; it is not for the sake of their interests. They had long been exploiting this Ummah’s interests and resources, and they, throughout the past, were the primary beneficiaries of these homelands’ wealth, interests, and oil. Yet even that was not enough for them! They are now moving in a direction that serves the Jewish Zionist enemy and the Zionist scheme, with the aim of implementing it and working to establish ‘Greater Israel’ in this region. This is perfectly clear.

In the West, this matter has become very clear to states, peoples, and many governments. Indeed, some European governments have adopted positions stronger than those of Arab states. Take, for example, Spain. It has adopted a well-informed and advanced position, speaking with a clear understanding of the nature of what the Americans and Israelis are doing, and about the Israeli danger, which affects even global stability, as the Israelis accept no restraint whatsoever: neither international law, nor United Nations charters, nor conventions, nor values—nor anything at all.

Trump’s tyranny—who is a puppet in the hands of Zionism—has reached an appalling level. Trump himself posted an AI-generated image in which he presents himself as a god on earth. Where is the Arab and Islamic response? This is among the worst and most extreme forms of tyranny. He presents himself as though he were a god on earth, placing himself on a par with the Christ—Prophet Isa (PBUH)—according to the Catholic belief that deifies him. This is how he projects himself, demonstrating this level of arrogance, tyranny, and recklessness, even though he is nothing more than a puppet in the hands of Zionism, to the point that the criminal Netanyahu says that the American administration submits reports on its work to him. Who stands behind that? The Zionist lobby.

Trump—rather, the official American establishment as a whole—is entirely beholden to the Jewish Zionist lobby. Even in Congress, many members are under the sway of that same Jewish Zionist lobby. This situation threatens the security and stability of the region and has repercussions at the global level.

Therefore, this stage demands a high degree of vigilance and readiness. The two-week truce—one week of which has already passed—is fragile. The enemy continues its aggression against Lebanon. At the same time, they are taking action in the Gulf of Oman to tighten pressure on the Strait of Hormuz and prevent the movement of shipping, thereby placing further strain on the global economy. The Americans have taken this step in order to confront the legitimate measures undertaken by the Islamic Republic in the Strait of Hormuz. Yet this American move is, in reality, one of wrongdoing, aggression, tyranny, and further destabilisation of the global economy. It has no legitimacy whatsoever. It is an act of piracy born of aggression and transgression. The correct course is the complete cessation of aggression against this Ummah, including the Islamic Republic of Iran and the peoples of the region. The aggression against Lebanon must be stopped. That is the right position and the right decision. As for persisting in aggression, thuggery, and tyranny, and taking hostile steps that further aggravate the global economic situation, that is futile; its consequences will extend to other countries as well.

We all realise that the great fruit of steadfastness, jihad, and right action in reliance upon Allah is resilience, dignity, and strength. This is what can frustrate the enemies’ conspiracies and schemes aimed at enslaving this Ummah and occupying its homelands.

To take the right position is to move in accordance with the guidance of Allah (Glory be to Him) and His precious, wise instructions—the instructions of the Most Wise of judges. In confronting the Zionist scheme, as it targets us as a Muslim Ummah—our religion, our sanctities, our freedom, our dignity, our homelands, our wealth, and everything else—our responsibility is jihad in the cause of Allah, the Almighty.

In this era, the highest and most exalted expression of striving in Allah’s cause is to confront the Zionist Jews in their Zionist scheme, which targets us in everything: in our religion and in our worldly life. This is the highest and greatest embodiment of jihad, since they target us in everything. They work to efface the defining features of Islam, and they work to enslave our peoples in the fullest sense of the word

In the distorted texts of the Jews, including the Talmud, and in their culture, discourse, thinking, and view of these peoples, they openly express hostility towards these peoples and declare that they may be violated with impunity. Allah says of them that they say, {‘There is no blame upon us concerning the Gentiles‘}[Ali ‘Imran 3:75]. In other words, they regard this Ummah as open to violation: its blood, its honour, its wealth—everything. Thus, their orientation is of an aggressive, criminal, and satanic nature, steeped in corruption and deception. They are waging both a satanic soft war of corruption and deception and a hard criminal war, which destroys, kills, and annihilates children, women, civilians, the old and the young in the most hideous forms of criminality—extending even to the targeting of students in their schools, the wholesale targeting of people in their homes, and the savage crimes and killings of people by the hundreds, in all forms of crime, aggression, and oppression. Therefore, our responsibility is to strive in the cause of Allah (Glory be to Him), and this is a great arena for that.

Where are the forces and movements that present themselves as Islamic? Where are the scholarly figures, the groups, the organisations, the institutions, and the parties? Where are the peoples of our Islamic Ummah? This is a great and sacred arena for striving in the cause of Allah (Glory be to Him) and confronting unbelief, tyranny, taghut, arrogance, injustice, and criminality.

Allah’s promises of victory (Glory be to Him) are tied to practical obedience to His guidance and instructions:

  • {‘Fight them; Allah will punish them by your hands and will disgrace them and give you victory over them and satisfy the breasts of a believing people‘}[At-Tawbah 9:14].
  • -{‘If you stand for Allah, He will grant you victory and strengthen your foothold‘}[Muhammad 47:7].
  • {‘And Allah will surely grant victory to those who stand for Him. Indeed, Allah is Powerful and Mighty‘}[Al-Hajj 22:40].

Allah (Glory be to Him) has shown us this path: the path of standing firm, with total steadfastness and full determination, in confronting the enemies and fighting them. They fight us and kill us as a Muslim Ummah; they assault us through aggression, oppression, injustice, and tyranny. It is Allah who says to us in His holy book, {‘O believers! If you yield to the disbelievers, they will drag you back to disbelief—and you will become losers‘}[Ali ‘Imran 3:149]. For all their dictates amount to concessions over everything connected to our freedom, dignity, humanity, and legitimate rights. They also mean abandoning principles and values, humiliating this Ummah, and reducing it to subjugation and servitude. That is why Allah says, {‘But no! Allah is your Guardian, and He is the best Helper‘}[Ali ‘Imran 3:150].

The salvation of this Ummah cannot be attained through hesitation, passivity, betrayal, or service to its enemy. Rather, they are paths that bring about Allah’s displeasure, wrath, and punishment, including by means of others, without any result or benefit. Evading responsibility will not benefit this Ummah: {‘Say, [O Prophet,] “Flight will not avail you if you flee from death or killing, and even then you will not be left to enjoy [life] but for a little while”‘}[Al-Ahzab 33:16]. Therefore, the choice of striving in the cause of Allah and confronting the enemies’ oppression, tyranny, evil, and criminality is the right choice. It is legitimate by every consideration, every norm, every law, and every charter, and it is in harmony with the instructions of Allah, the Almighty.

Our dear Yemeni people, with their identity of faith, are a people who do not accept humiliation or subjugation, and they can never bow to the Zionist scheme. Our dear people have raised the banner of jihad in the cause of Allah (Glory be to Him), and they move with dignity, for dignity is part of faith: Allah says, {‘And to Allah belongs [all] honour, and to His Messenger, and to the believers‘}[Al-Munafiqun 63:8]. Many peoples today live in a state of humiliation, to the extent of not daring to speak a word of truth in the face of America and Israel and their tyranny. But our dear Yemeni people speak the truth, take the rightful stance, wage jihad in the cause of Allah (Glory be to Him), and act on the basis of the Holy Quran. This is a very great blessing.

Allah says, {‘The believers are only those who have believed in Allah and His Messenger, never doubting thereafter, and have striven with their wealth and their lives in the cause of Allah. Such are the sincere ones‘}[Al-Hujurat 49:15]. We see the genuineness of our dear Yemeni people’s identity of faith—Yemen, the land of faith. While their faith was attested to by the Messenger, we today recognise that faith in their jihad, their rightful stance, their sincere action, and their practical responsiveness to the guidance of Allah (Glory be to Him). This is a continuation of their fathers and forefathers, the Ansar, who bore the banner of Islam and supported the Messenger of Allah (PBUH&F), who said of them words of great significance, which history will record until the end of the world: ‘You are abundant in times of fear and scarce in times of greed.‘ This is a great virtue. It shows steadfastness, courage, a sense of responsibility, and the immense value of the great causes embraced by this noble people.

For this reason, our people remain steadfast, and we—both the state and the public—remain committed to our declared position against the enemies of this Ummah and against their criminal schemes that target our Ummah in both its religion and its worldly life. We stand against the Zionist scheme and the American-Israeli assault that targets this Ummah.

Our position in relation to the Axis of Jihad and Resistance remains steadfast, whatever the developments may require. We also remain committed to the principle of unified fronts and to supporting the Lebanese people, the Islamic Resistance, and Hezbollah in Lebanon.

I call upon our dear people to turn out tomorrow, Friday, in a great million-strong demonstration in the capital, Sana’a, and across the rest of the governorates:

  • as an affirmation of steadfastness in our position;
  • in support of Lebanon and the resistance and Hezbollah in Lebanon;
  • and as a sign of readiness for all possible developments in confronting the enemies of Islam and the Muslims.

I hope the turnout will be truly massive.

This—as I have emphasised many times before in many speeches—is part of our jihad in the cause of Allah (Glory be to Him). It also comes at a critical stage, one that calls for such popular presence and such popular momentum, which the enemies take extremely seriously. It also gives the position greater weight, strongly reaffirms it, and demonstrates clear and practical readiness.

We ask Allah (Glory be to Him) to grant us success in seeking what pleases Him. O Allah, have mercy on our virtuous martyrs, heal the wounded among us, set free our captives, and grant us victory. You are the Hearer of Prayer!

Peace be upon you and the mercy of Allah and His blessings.
