The head of Tehreek Bedari Ummat-e-Mustafa, Allama Syed Jawad Naqvi, said in his address that Donald Trump is currently isolated and facing intense internal and external pressure.

He stated that NATO and European allies are distancing themselves from Trump’s actions, while even Christian religious circles are challenging his conduct. In such a situation, he said, Trump’s unusual friendliness toward Pakistan is not a matter of satisfaction but of concern—especially given the inconsistency and contradictions in his policies and statements. Past experiences, he added, show that he cannot be relied upon.

He emphasized that Pakistan is currently facing an important diplomatic test and must adopt a clear and principled stance. Under no circumstances should it become merely a means for Trump’s “face-saving.”

He further stressed that Pakistan should support the legitimate rights of Iran, particularly its right to peaceful nuclear energy and self-defense, in accordance with international law and state sovereignty. He added that the collective dignity and interests of the Muslim Ummah must remain central in this process.

He concluded by saying that Trump is currently under pressure from Islamic resistance forces, presenting a rare and historic diplomatic opportunity for Pakistan. With wisdom, strategy, and a principled stance, Pakistan can utilize this moment not only for its own benefit but for the broader interests of the Muslim world.
