Rawalakot Police Arrest Alleged Indian Spy Linked to Sensitive Data Leak

Rawalakot police have arrested an agent working for India’s intelligence agency.

Inspector General (IG) Police Azad Jammu and Kashmir, Liaqat Ali Malik, said during a press conference that Rawalakot police had apprehended an individual involved in working for the Indian intelligence agency.

The IG Police stated that the suspect, identified as Irfan, was recording videos and taking photographs of sensitive installations. Anti-state elements were passing sensitive information to the enemy.

He added that the agent was operating through social media and was providing sensitive locations to hostile elements.

According to the IG, the agent used to pay different individuals based on videos and location data they provided.

He further said that the agent had been targeting innocent people to achieve malicious objectives. The sanctity of Azad Kashmir’s land will not be compromised under any circumstances.

The IG Police warned that people are being trapped on social media by individuals posing as women or journalists. The public should remain vigilant and avoid becoming part of any enemy conspiracy.
