Major Operation in Karachi: Highly Wanted Terrorist of Banned Sipah-e-Sahaba Arrested
Shiite News: Pakistan Rangers (Sindh) and CTD Police, acting on intelligence information, conducted a joint operation in the Site Area of Karachi and arrested a highly wanted terrorist, Noor Alam alias Wafadar, son of Maroot Khan, affiliated with the banned outfit Sipah-e-Sahaba Pakistan (SSP).
Weapons, ammunition, and explosive material were also recovered from the arrested terrorist. According to details, the arrested terrorist joined the banned SSP’s Mufti Noor Wali group in 2014. After training, he was involved in multiple attacks on security forces’ checkposts in South Waziristan.

The arrested terrorist revealed that in 2021, along with his accomplices, he attacked the Levies checkpost in Makin, during which two of his fellow terrorists were killed in the security forces’ retaliatory action. He and his remaining accomplices kidnapped 6 Levies personnel.
The arrested terrorist, along with accomplices Khan Muhammad alias Khurai and Naqibullah alias Muawiya, was also involved in planting multiple IEDs and carrying out blasts on security forces’ routes in Waziristan. During a military operation in South Waziristan, the terrorist fled to Afghanistan with his associates and was later involved in sending terrorist cells from Afghanistan to South Waziristan on the orders of banned SSP commander Bilal alias Toofan.
The arrested terrorist is a resident of South Waziristan and had been hiding in Karachi for some time. He was organizing a terrorist network in Karachi on instructions from his associates based in Afghanistan. According to a Rangers spokesperson, raids are being conducted to arrest his remaining accomplices. The arrested terrorist, along with seized weapons, ammunition, and explosive material, has been handed over to CTD Police for further legal proceedings.
