Khamenei Mourns IRGC Intelligence Chief, Vows Resistance Against Enemy Actions

Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Sayyed Mojtaba Khamenei mourned in a statement issued on Monday Brigadier General Sayyed Majid Khademi assassinated by the US-Israeli aggression on Iran.

“Once again, the US-Zionist enemy, which has suffered successive defeats in the imposed war against the Iranian people and its mujahideen, resorted to its usual tactic of terrorism and assassination of one of the leaders of the country’s security and intelligence system,” the statement read.

“Brigadier General Sayyed Majid Khademi, who spent decades in the fields of security, intelligence, and defense, silently struggling, attained the honor of martyrdom. However, the ranks of the mujahideen and defenders of truth in Islamic Iran, and in the sacrificing armed forces, are solid as a brick wall, and assassination crimes cannot undermine their resolve or goals,” Imam Khamenei added.

Imam Khamenei offered His condolences on the “martyrdom of this mujahid leader to his noble family, colleagues, and commanders in the IRGC Intelligence Organization, asking God to elevate his status”.
