Three Palestinian citizens were martyred on Tuesday in attacks by Israeli occupation forces and settlers on the village of Abu Falah, northeast of Ramallah, the central West Bank.

According to a statement from the Palestinian Ministry of Health, 24-year-old Thaer Farouq Hamayel and 57-year-old Fare’e Jawdat Hamayel were killed after being shot in the head during the IOF and Israeli settlers assault. Additionally, 55-year-old Mohammad Hossein Marra was killed by Israeli occupation forces after he suffocated to death from the tear gas they deployed.
West Bank under the yoke of Israeli occupation
As of early March, Israeli aggression on the occupied West Bank intensified, with troops conducting widespread raids and arrest campaigns across multiple governorates, including Ramallah, al-Khalil, Jenin, and Nablus, detaining dozens of Palestinians during searches of homes and neighbourhoods.

On March 2, settler violence surged, with armed Israeli settlers killing two Palestinian brothers in the northern West Bank village of Qaryout, and injuring others in the assault, according to Palestinian health officials and human rights groups.

Then, on March 7, a third Palestinian man was shot dead by an Israeli reservist soldier in the south al-Khalil Hills of Masafer Yatta, while his brother was critically wounded, as aggression on the territory continued to rise amid heightened military presence.

Also on March 7, reports emerged of eight Palestinians injured in a separate attack by illegal Israeli settlers in the ar‑Ras al‑Ahmar area near Tubas, underscoring the broader pattern of settler assaults on Palestinian communities.

Meanwhile, Israeli forces have maintained an increased presence in key towns across the West Bank, setting up checkpoints, conducting house raids, and limiting movement for residents, further disrupting daily life and preventing students and workers from reaching schools and workplaces.
