Police Brutality at Hashmi’s Residence Is an Attack on Constitution: Senator Allama Raja Nasir Abbas

Shiite News: Chairman of Majlis Wahdat-e-Muslimeen Pakistan and Opposition Leader in the Senate, Senator Allama Raja Nasir Abbas Jafri, has strongly condemned the police raid on the residence of veteran politician Makhdoom Javed Hashmi, calling it a direct attack on the Constitution, democracy, and rule of law.
He described the incident as clear evidence of the panic and moral bankruptcy of the Form-47-backed fascist government and its handlers.
He stated that violating the sanctity of a political opponent’s home is not an act of strength, but a sign of fear and ethical collapse.
Quoting Ameer-ul-Momineen Hazrat Ali ibn Abi Talib (AS), Allama Raja Nasir Abbas said:
“A government may survive with disbelief, but never with oppression.”
He warned that history is witness that tyrannical regimes eventually collapse, and when the wheel of time turns, neither fabricated mandates nor powerful handlers can save them. The public is watching, and accountability is inevitable.
