Participation in Gaza Peace Board Violates Ideology of Pakistan: Allama Baqir Hussaini
Shiite News: President of Anjuman-e-Imamia Baltistan Pakistan, Allama Agha Syed Muhammad Baqir Al-Hussaini, strongly condemned the government’s decision to join the Gaza Peace Board, calling it a clear violation of the Ideology of Pakistan and the principled stance of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah (RA).
He stated that Quaid-e-Azam had categorically opposed the creation of the Zionist state in 1948, declaring Israel a dagger in the heart of the Muslim world and affirming that Pakistan would never recognize it.
Any move aligned with pro-Israel platforms, he said, represents a direct deviation from this stance.
Allama Baqir Al-Hussaini termed the decision a betrayal of Palestinian Muslims and a compromise on the sanctity of Al-Quds, emphasizing that Pakistan’s true identity lies in standing with the oppressed and opposing Zionist aggression.
He urged the government to adopt a clear, courageous, and principled policy on Palestine, aligned with the sentiments of the Muslim Ummah, and to refrain from actions that hurt collective Muslim consciousness.
The statement has sparked discussion within Shia communities across Pakistan, including Gilgit-Baltistan, and has received support from various religious and political circles.
