Pakistan’s Patriotic Public Rejects Trump’s So-Called Peace Board, Allama Hayat Abbas

Shiite News: Senior provincial leader of Majlis Wahdat-e-Muslimeen, Allama Hayat Abbas Najafi, has stated that the patriotic people of Pakistan have outrightly rejected the government’s decision to join former US President Donald Trump’s so-called “Peace Board,” terming it a clear betrayal of national sovereignty, principled policy, and the just struggle of the oppressed Palestinian people.
In his statement, Allama Hayat Abbas Najafi said that the so-called Peace Board is, in reality, a cosmetic forum imposed by global powers, whose purpose is not to ensure justice in Palestine but to suppress the Palestinian issue in accordance with imperialist interests.
He warned that decisions regarding the internal and external future of Palestine, made without the consent and aspirations of its people, are part of a major conspiracy.
He emphasized that participation in such a forum is not only morally wrong but also an insult to the emotions of the Muslim Ummah and the sacrifices of the Palestinian people.
He added that despite decades of Israeli aggression, oppression, and grave human rights violations in Palestine, global powers have consistently devised plans to pressure the oppressed instead of holding the oppressor accountable.
Allama Najafi further stated that the Abraham Accords and the so-called Peace Board are links in the same chain, aimed at weakening the Palestinian cause and providing protection to Israeli crimes. Joining such a forum, he said, amounts to strengthening an unjust system and rubbing salt into the wounds of the oppressed.
He concluded by asserting that true peace can never be established under the shadow of occupation, coercion, and injustice.
He demanded that the Pakistani government immediately withdraw from the so-called Peace Board and adhere firmly to the principled stance of the founder of Pakistan, Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, on the Palestine issue.
He warned that failure to reverse this decision would lead to nationwide public protests.
