Gaza Peace Board Lacks Palestinian Representation, We Reject It: Ameer JI

Shiite News: Ameer Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan Hafiz Naeem ur Rehman has categorically rejected the Gaza Peace Board, stating that Palestinians have no representation in it.
Addressing a gathering, he said that Jamaat-e-Islami does not recognize any such peace initiative that excludes the very people of Gaza.
He also expressed confidence that Jamaat-e-Islami would achieve success in the upcoming elections in Bangladesh.
Hafiz Naeem emphasized that Jamaat-e-Islami respects all schools of thought and has always advocated unity, stating that sectarian division serves no purpose.
He said it is irrelevant which sect an individual belongs to, as all schools, Imams, and jurists deserve respect.
He further criticized the global capitalist system, saying it continues to widen the gap between the rich and the poor.
He revealed that Pakistan has paid approximately Rs. 2,200 billion for electricity that was never generated.
Hafiz Naeem also condemned the United States for supplying weapons to Israel and termed the nomination of Donald Trump for the Nobel Prize an insult to Pakistan.
He pointed out that no parliamentary consultation took place before joining the Gaza Peace Board.
While clarifying that Pakistan does not seek confrontation with any global power, he firmly stated that slavery would never be accepted.
He also criticized a decision taken during the Musharraf era that rendered the Pak-Afghan border insecure, adding that both then and now, decisions were made without consulting the nation.
