Ban on Milad-e-Kaaba Rally While Takfiri Rally Allowed

Shiite News: Majlis Wahdat-e-Muslimeen (MWM) South Balochistan has expressed deep concern over the decision of district administration in Lasbela to ban the peaceful rally marking 13th Rajab (Eid-e-Milad-e-Kaaba) while allowing a rally by a banned Takfiri organization, despite the enforcement of Section 144.
In its official statement, MWM said that the discriminatory, unconstitutional, and illegal actions of the district administration have caused widespread anger and anxiety among the Shia community.
Allowing a proscribed organization to hold a rally while unjustifiably stopping a peaceful and patriotic Shia religious procession is a clear contradiction and reflects a dangerous double standard.
MWM declared this act a blatant violation of Article 16 (Freedom of Assembly) and Article 20 (Freedom of Religion) of the Constitution of Pakistan, as well as Section 144 and other relevant laws.
The organization warned that such conduct weakens the writ of the state and raises serious questions about administrative neutrality and equal citizenship.
MWM demanded immediate notice by the Government of Balochistan and called for strict legal and administrative action against the responsible officers to prevent such unconstitutional practices in the future.
The statement warned that failure to address this injustice would result in serious unrest, for which the district administration would bear full responsibility.
