Adherence to the Qur’an and Ahl al-Bayt Guarantees Success: Ayatollah Hafiz Riaz Najafi

Shiite News: President of Wifaq-ul-Madaris al-Shia Pakistan, Ayatollah Syed Hafiz Riaz Hussain Najafi, has emphasized that true success lies in holding firmly to the Holy Qur’an and the Ahl al-Bayt of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him and his progeny).
While delivering the Friday sermon at Jamia Masjid Ali, Hawza Ilmiyya Jamia al-Muntazar, Model Town, he referred to Hadith al-Thaqalayn, stating that the Holy Prophet (PBUH), six months prior to his demise, clearly declared that he was leaving behind two invaluable trusts for the Ummah: the Holy Qur’an and his Ahl al-Bayt, and that whoever remains attached to both will never go astray and will attain ultimate success.
Ayatollah Najafi stated that the Holy Qur’an contains answers to every question and that the real essence of Islam is embedded within the Qur’an itself.
He stressed that the only criterion of superiority before Allah is taqwa (piety) and that success in both worlds is impossible without adherence to divine piety.
He further said that the Qur’an openly invites humanity to hold fast to it, declaring that within it lie healing, guidance, and the paths to progress.

He remarked that if an individual fails to find solutions to their problems in the Qur’an, the shortcoming lies within the individual’s understanding, not the divine book, as the Qur’an’s claim of providing guidance for all matters is absolutely true.
He also highlighted that the entire life and blessed Seerah of the Leader of the Prophets (PBUH&HP), from birth to martyrdom, is preserved before humanity and serves as a complete source of guidance, reform, and welfare for mankind.
