Pak-Iran Institutional Cooperation Need of Hour: Allama Maisami

Shiite News: Chairman Zahra (SA) Academy Pakistan and Secretary General of Shia Ulema Council Pakistan, Hujjat-ul-Islam Allama Dr. Shabbir Hasan Meesami, has emphasized that practical and institutional relations between Pakistan and Iran are the need of the hour.
He expressed these views while attending an international interfaith conference titled “Darpaish Aalmi Mushkilaat ke Tanazur mein Mazhabi Rehnumaon ka Kirdar aur Zimmedariyan”, The Role and Responsibilities of Religious Leaders in the Context of Contemporary Global Challenges held at Almerath Hotel, Bangkok, Thailand, upon special invitation.
According to reports, Allama Meesami held meetings with religious leaders of various faiths and also met Dr. Mohammad Mehdi Imanpour, President of the Islamic Culture and Relations Organization of Iran, and Nasiruddin Haidari, Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Thailand. He appreciated the role of the Central Islamic Council of Thailand and Iran in promoting interfaith harmony.
Allama Meesami stated that strengthening Pakistan-Iran institutional cooperation would bring tangible benefits to the people of both countries. He was accompanied by Maulana Ghulam Ali Abuzar, Imam of Al-Huda Islamic Center, Maulana Syed Mazhar Abbas Zaidi, COO of Al-Sadiq Shariah Solutions, and other colleagues.
