Bajaur: 5 Indian-Sponsored Khawarij Killed, Major Adeel Zaman Martyred
Shiite News: Security forces carried out a successful intelligence-based operation in Bajaur district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, resulting in the killing of five Indian-sponsored Khawarij terrorists, while Pakistan Army officer Major Adeel Zaman embraced martyrdom during a fierce exchange of fire.
According to a statement issued by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the operation was conducted in the Khar area of Bajaur following credible intelligence regarding the presence of Khawarij elements.
During the intense firefight, Major Adeel Zaman, who belonged to Dera Ismail Khan, led the troops from the front and fought bravely before attaining martyrdom.
ISPR stated that a large cache of weapons and ammunition was recovered from the killed Khawarij, who were actively involved in terrorist activities against security forces and were also responsible for the killing of innocent civilians.
The armed forces reaffirmed their resolve to eliminate the menace of terrorism from the country, stating that the sacrifices of martyrs like Major Adeel Zaman further strengthen the nation’s commitment to peace and security.
