Balance of Belief and Love Essential in Shia Thought

Shiite News: Delivering the Friday sermon at Masjid-o-Imambargah Baqiatullah, Karachi, Allama Dr. Shabbir Hasan Mithami stressed that guidance comes solely from the Infallible Imams (AS) and that belief and love must remain balanced within Shia doctrine.
He warned that no marja can claim direct authority from Imam Mahdi (AS) during the era of occultation.
He emphasized adherence to the Qur’an, Sunnah, and teachings of the Imams rather than personal opinions or dreams.
Allama Mithami expressed concern over the situation in Gaza and criticized delays in justice for the martyrs of Gilgit-Baltistan. He urged moderation in spending, especially during weddings, and called for adherence to Quaid-e-Azam’s vision for Pakistan.
