TTP Threatens School in Shia Area of Hangu, Vows “Revenge” for Parachinar

Shiite News: The proscribed terrorist organization Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP), Abubakar Khorasani group, has issued a threatening letter to a school in the Shia-majority area of Shahokhel, Hangu, warning of an imminent attack.
The letter warned government employees to dissociate themselves from the state, threatening severe consequences on the orders of TTP’s central leadership. The terrorists also mentioned taking “revenge” for Parachinar.
It is noteworthy that Shahokhel is a Shia-populated area that suffered severe violence nearly two decades ago when Taliban and Sipah-e-Sahaba militants burned the area, martyred several Shia civilians, and destroyed Imambargahs and mosques.
